Ingredients:

1 cup           all purpose flour, sifted

1/2 cup      butter or margarine, softened

1/4 cup      confectioner’s suger

2pcs.           eggs

1 cup           sugar

1 tsp.           grated lemon peel

3 Tbsp.       lemon or kalamansi juice

1/4 cup      all purpose flour, sifted

1/4 tsp       baking powder

confectioner’s suger for dusting

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare an 8″ square pan.

2. Combin flour, butter and confectioner’s sugar until well blended. Press to the bottom

of the prepared pan. Bake for 20mins. Or until lightly browned.

3. Beat eggs until fluffy.

4. Add sugar, lemon peel, lemon juice, all purpose flour and baking powder.

5. Pour over pre-baked layer.

6. Bake for another 20mins or until the top layer has already set.

7. Cool then sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.

8. Cut into squares.

* I made some few days ago and would mark the success of my first ever baked lemon squares! *
