It was a trip planned out of the blue. My friend and I decided to unwind and visit a new place. Off we go to Thailand…

The Kingdom of Thailand is an independent country that lies in the heart of Southeast Asia. The capital and largest city of Thailand is Bangkok.

We arranged the tour with a travel agency. The package includes accommodation, tours, and land transfer.

We stayed in PJ Watergate Hotel located in Pratunam. The hotel was very accessible to Baiyoke Sky Tower and the night market.

We arrived at Thailand around 1am and travel to the hotel was at most 45mins.

The next day, we started our tour and our first stop is the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Merchants are around the place

Next stop is the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo. We traveled for a couple of hours to reach the place. The tour includes an eat-all-you-can lunch buffet. The Thai food tastes good and sumptuous. The elephant show started at 2pm. You have to get into the show area early to get a seat. After which we went to the crocodile show, but not so much of it since the place is so crowded with spectators. We traveled back to the city, we stop by the temples and our last stop is the Jewelry factory.

We also went to Baiyoke Sky Tower, up we go to the 85th floor where we tried the 360 degrees revolving deck and see the night scenery of Bangkok. The ticket cost us 200 baht, this includes a drink and a bowl of popcorn.

On the next day, we went to Siam Ocean World. The Ocean World is located at the lower level of Siam Paragon Shopping Center in Bangkok.

Going to Thailand will never be complete without the shopping. Chatuchak is the famous weekend market in Thailand, but due to time constraints we’re not able to drop by there. But we are still lucky since the the night market is just few steps away from our hotel. The night market in Pratunam opens at 6pm. You can see bags, shoes, sandals, shirts, dresses, watches and many more. Surely a day is never enough to check out all the items in the area.

Thailand is must place to visit. It’s a country with very interesting culture and wonderful places to see. Our four days trip was indeed sooooo short that until this time, I wanted to go back and explore more of the country.
